Terms and Conditions of Sale

Payment Terms
All items are to be paid for in full upfront, prior to order fulfillment or delivery, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

  1. Default and Overdue Accounts
In the event that an account remains unpaid for more than 30 calendar days from the date of invoice, the account will be considered in default, and the following terms shall apply:

    a. Interest Charges

    • Interest will accrue on the outstanding balance at a rate of 2% per month (compounded monthly), from the date the account became overdue until full payment is received.

    b. Administrative Fees

    • A weekly administration fee of R250 will be charged for each full week the account remains overdue, to cover costs associated with the management and recovery of the outstanding balance.

    c. Retention of Ownership

    • Ownership of all goods remains with the seller until full payment has been received. In the event of default, the seller reserves the right to reclaim unpaid goods without further notice.

    d. Reabsorption of Stock and Price Adjustment

    • If the account remains unpaid for more than 28 days after default (i.e., 58 days from invoice date), the unpaid goods will be absorbed back into stock and will no longer be available to the client at the original price.

    • The goods may then be resold at a revised price determined at the seller’s discretion.

  2. Legal Costs
In the event of legal action for recovery of overdue amounts, the client shall be liable for all legal and collection costs, including but not limited to attorney and court fees, on an attorney-and-client scale.

  3. Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order with Muse, the client acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the above terms and conditions.
